Hey Mark I was living near big rock during that swell I agree,"Best kneeriding I have ever seen" by miles.....................Never, have I seen anything even close to that since!!!! Best Blacks I have surfed EVER.

John Was The Best Kneeboarder I Ever Saw Back in The Days.John Took Me to All The S/D Surf Spots Cliffs,La Jolla,OB,PB,Santa Barbara.Also Became Good Freind With Kenny Hughes & Some Of Big Rock Crew. John Brockway gave me a 5ft 7 Lis that i surfed at Big Hanalei in 79'. I went sooo fast I almost ran over Titus and he punched me in the face 4 times for it!! hahahahah! Brockway is a great guy , I worked with him for a couple yrs and we had a blast...got unreal waves all over SB with him.
