Mark

Nearby, a bit north of the previous flooding.

One of the Jakarta kneelos mothers house was flooded in Queensland, she did not have time to clear out anything other than the TV and Computer. Car, furniture and all went under water

Pray that this storm misses them and our friends in the North as well.

i feel sorry for the north of the state with it now a catergory 5 with 300klm wind due to hit at 2200 & to make matters worse for them i hits the same time as the high tide with a storm surge in some areas of 7mtrs thats over 22ft above the normal high tide :(

 G`day Scott, just looked at Noosa webcam and it`s increased pleanty since this morning. Little bumpy with the wind but people are out.
Set to get bigger still so a trip to the coast is on tommorrow.
I know there`ll be lots of devastsation up north but realistically, there`s nothing we can do about it so may as well take advantage of it.

Good luck to everyone up north. Quite a few of my colleagues have families up that way, so there's a fair amount of anxiety for the next 24 hours.

...and post some pics for those further south and getting swell!
