That Hero camera was a great innovation that allows exprimentation. I am getting the latest one soon and taking an idea from a guy here in So Cal mounting it on a 12 inch piece of PVC for shooting surfing video kind of like a boom camera. I rewatched you video again and the shot of the wave tubing is great and ne cause its up off the board what about 2 feet? not the base of the board. A wide angle attachment would be good but I do not this there is one for the Hero. you guys in Aussieland have a more target rich enviorment for tubes.
