just surfed a super sketchy 8-10' left reef point here in cabo....alone
my knees and hands are chewed up from the reef and i got urchin spikes through my Da fins and into my foot!
4 ballenas later and im feelin fine....
couple days ago and it was 6-8' and really fun too...
gonna chase the swell back to cali and get my home break!

almost every wave had a ridable rebound....not many kneelo quality waves but every bump and lump was a ramp on the mat....
good size but windy early.....

Had a surf this PM from around 1 till 3.30 down the road @ Freshy and on the sets was well overhead ...(lucky I kneel) but fair dinkum around 6ft face ... paddled around al over the place for the first hour chasing the peaks and finally landed one which was the start of plenty going to order for the next hour and a half till the cramps took over .... all in all a great arvo on a beach break just down the road (200 mtrs) (google Oceanview rd Freshwater nsw Aust) pic show a surf carnival would say 26/1 as we have an Australia Day Surf Carnival that day ... great little beach maybe 400 metres wide with the south end being the go on most days
have a look

After our winds this week, water temp dipped to 47 F. But warm weather predicted for this weekend. That's a start.

Pretty decent nw/s combo up here.HH + on the sets,a bit wonky seeing it's a new swell.Probably go down a bit tomorrow, but be a bit cleaner.Surfed my favorite right reef point..alone :D and On a sunday!
hot day today upper 80's, warm for this time of year, and another tomorrow. the water warmed to about 50, comfy,almost...
Looks to be a south coming middle of the week, maybe we all be getting waves along the coast.
Got a tick stuck on my buttock :roll:Little tiny bugger. Got the body out,not the head.See the doc tomorrow for a small cut job.Two people in town have had lyme's,so It'll go in the lab for analysis.Probably go on antibiotics, thats seems to be the cure..if caught in time.
cheers
