Because of were I surf most of the time. I get this question alot. Is that a kneeboard or what kind of board is that? I guess they don't get out much.

If you think I have had the wrong end of the stick regarding Man O 'War and his attempts to be evangelistic on this site here is a snippet of his reply to a comment I made in a pm to him (in bold) MOW first sent a pm to me hoping Id listen to a christian preacher give a sermon about multifaith societies (plurilism)

In good faith I said I would listen. Iattempted to down load and couldnt and lost patience and thought about it and then thought I dont have the time. As I just wrote to MOW when I listened to a talk about the Koran and the commen man...it was in the car... a radio broadcast...no need to find time or down load!

I thought MOW had pmd me to talk religion off line in an attempt to communicate and find common ground in a shared interest...being religion/theology.

In talking about my own philosophy I stated the following

A Tibetan Lama, a life long celebate monk, who is an exemplar of wisdom and compassion once stated '....you can rely on faith for a life or two but after that your own actions will determine your course....'

Yeah, but he didn't know what he was talking about. He's playing his monk role but doesn't honestly care what happens to him or you... until it happens.

Whats this got to do about surfing? We are surfers and we come together a surfers but some also may bring a little extra. Im happy to digress and talk about our lives outta the water but besides being human, I try not to push my own philosophy.

cant take on board your predetermined theory...no absolute creator theory holds here...dont need to cover for me...im quite confident of my position and I am enjoying the reflection this offers

but my feeling is mow is confident too...but he believes only his position is right....Im quite happy to allow people to follow the path that suits them and would never suggest that their teacher/s dont know what their talking about because it contradicts my own position

the consideration of the term sunset and sunrise when the sun does not in actuallity move, is a great teaching tool to develop analytical thinking in students as to how language shapes peoples sense of reality.

Teaching analytical thinking is the first step to independent learning. Thus the young grow up to not be governed by media spin, advertising and dogma.

Teachers understand that this overcomes a lot future potential problems and people grow up free minded and judicious.
