surf report 2007

Just added a FCS fin in the back.
Could be ridden as an Aussie style four fin.
Could be ridden as a Flashpoint style three fin.
Also, could be ridden as a small fin cluster standard tri fin set up as on stand-up boards.
5'10" / 24" wide / swallow tail with Parkes Deck Pads.
Standard Parkes design:
Wide point forward
Double concave.
Wings and a couple other cool things like a step deck in the tail area.
Picture will be hard for me to do but Oakland can see it live and in person as I live just over the hill.

Glassy all day today.Wind predictions for here are not very accurate.Swell may peak on sun.2-4 ft south, under the NW.Hard to say from day to day.I'd say sunday is the best day in terms of swell size.Don't quote me though.Best laid plans.....etc
Must be some surf in the SC area?Couple friends called said they were having some fun.

After five days of complete flat, there has been wave's here in The People's Republic, although wind was an issue Thur. and Fri.-3-5'+ and today the jetty was on fire...4-6' ( using the official Beeline wave scale)...glassy deep barrels....

OB was funky. Waves in the 4-8' range with little organization but no wind. Saturday morning I lucked into a wedge the was hitting the inner bar. Barrels to be had after freefall drops. (My unoffical count was one coverup, one deep and long that closed on me and one long pocket ride in the dawn sunlight.) Nobody noticed the luck I was having and I was alone for an hour before the tide changed it. More good waves today at a different part of the beach but there always seemed to be someone behind me, or the set broke on my head, or someone in the impact zone... OB is a crazy place to surf.
It could be worse, I could be in Oakla-homa.
