Trestles yesterday(mon-mlk day) surfed lowers and middles-solid 4-6 foot faces then the scramble out to get the bombs 2 maybe 3 foot OH got 2 of those....very good day
Just to go to Montauk from PA. $40. gas, $30. tolls.
Montauk cranks though, Ditch Plains is like the HB of Long Island.
Got more waves today. Just found out water temp is 43f.
I am a traveller of both time and space, a weaver in and out of dreams, I see worlds seldom seen.
SB seeing some swell still, angle is MUCH better for breaks in SB and north. Surfed Hazards this evening, head high with some pluses, raining and had it to myself for almost an hour then shared countless perfect rights with 2 others.
Was a good evening. Now pray for the swell to keep coming!!
the water temp mon was probably in F 53-55 degrees according to the national weather service. Definitely 4-3mm water temps.
today surfed county line ..water def in the lower 50's but solid HH with well OH on the outsides...have not seen CL that good in a really long time, one of those everything was working tide push ,slight offshores holding the rights open, bowly lefts from the point northwards pretty sweet overall.
Probabley well hit trestles on fri on the way down to ASR and an early sesh SAT(crowds ) before heading back to SD..with the rains it will be interesting.
thank's for your information......for sure may thin 3-2mm could not hold these frigid conditions (for me of course ).....I hope to score some good surf conditions in South California.
Seems to be a great winter for surfing...........
It's been a great week at Blacks!
Mon and Tues AM HH to several feet OH, long, groomed, clean walls lining up nicely. Heard that yesterday afternoon was one of the best days yet and there were still waves this morning but with alot less people http://www.surfline.com/surf-news/plus- ... ego_21801/
check out pic #14 to see what I mean

Mike, glad to see you caught some. Didn't think the water was in the 50's up there! Just broke the upper 40's down here.
Should be another swell on the way this week. Must be nice to have time on your side for a change.......

Been bunk around here for awhile.Ran to the city this am.Light OS, warm and sunny.Middle of the beach looked fun but the crowd??Looks to be times of small waves will get folks through times of no work.... Opted for a bit north of sloat.better on the lower tide.No great shakes, some decent sets made it more than worthwhile. The little quadfish works well in these kind of conditions.Got my three hrs..... :D
