HooooooooWeeeeeeeeee, just had two days of Cranking 6-8ft barrels in Ocean City, MD. Broken standup boards all over the place  Finally caught Ocean City perfect, no current, and no wind! I had one tube that opened up so much, you could have put a small car into it  breaking on a two foot sandbar. If it were a reef, I wouldn't have surfed that place. Ohohohoh Man, I need more of this!!!!! :D Surfed the Neil Luke Island tri, what a beautiful rider!

Good shots of what it was like near or at 48th street, the heaviest sandbar.Except there were a lot of lefts too. http://www.swellinfo.com/gallery/showim ... i=1161&c=1

Mike cool photos, and looks very heavy, bet the paddling out was fun especially if timed incorrectly.

Scott thanks, it was great, and lots of sand in the wetsuit:lol:
Doc I just waited for the brief lull. It's so shallow, even bailing your board and diving can hurt, it whips your body like a whip snap. Best to curl up into a ball.
Looks like they are calling for double overhead next week  :D 8)

Mike, loved the pics and glad you scored! That looks pretty heavy
  and the description of the shorebreak makes my back hurt!

It's hard for me to picture OC like that, I've never seen it over shoulder high! How was Indian River Inlet?

Thanks R. Indian River was small on Sunday, I did check the south side, sometimes it has a nice wedge effect.

Yesterday, Don, Syd and I enjoyed some of that South.

For our stretch, the South rolled in surprisingly well. Wedgy, glassy waves with nary a soul.

Heard Creediler, Syd and Don went out this AM, but the rips and some texture made it a lot of work for modest returns.

Rain is supposed to come in. The Wintertime 'bob and weave' with the storms is approaching!

Just got back from a nice morning surf down here. The new south
is pushing into the bay with plenty of juice. Glassy conditions but
the bars were not holding the swell too good. Had to do some
chasing/being in the right spot at the right time...

Got one SOLID set left dredger. Took off and free fell into it,
stuck the bottom turn and sat back and enjoyed a nice room with
a view! 8)

I imagine spots in town/up north with more south exposure are pushing
well overhead on the sets.

Surfed OB north end, yesterday with 3 other kneelos. Have not seen some of them in a year.

Surfed Sewers and first peak today. At least four other kneelos out at different times. Paul Wuslich got a couple of good ones at Sewers.
