Here's why I no longer get nervous about Whitey while surfing Ocean Beach--he's having too much success homing in on the sound of the choppers and the tow-in wave runners.

Kas is my neighbor. He said it was soooooooo gnarly!!! The guy is a super good surfer and just about crapped his pants when he saw the shark. The water drops off real deep right there so it is no suprise.

Grew up on the east coast.till my uncle sam called...
Any ways,I seem to recall that every summer big schools of ocean going bluefish[12-25lbs?]would come ashore and scores of people would get chewed something fierce, didn't call them choppers for nothing..

Where I live " there are no sharks " I have never seen any, but when I am in the water only, sometimes I remember them

I am them afraid...
I to put mas networks(nets) to protect the human beings, the life of the persons is more important that it of saving dolphins or other species(kinds)...

I do not believe that broken the nourishing chain, adaptarian and buscarian new preys

I to put more control in the beaches, with networks(nets), though not in all
I do not speak English and i heither know write it , sorry for my take
