Nothing like Chart House or the first and second jetties though. Those waves are first class when on.

Chris,
Glad to hear you scored over on the right coast. I'm about 60 miles and two capes south of you, small but clean here today. Friday is looking up.

Surfed 3 hours in OC, MD today. Surfed till night, it glassed off, and had head high tubes  Montauk, Rockaway, and Manasquan were blown out. Still wearing a 4/3mm suit here. :D

The Boneyards that is around the point from County Line.

Connected Topanga past Chart House on macker days during the El Nino years in early 1980's.

re: County Line v. Topanga/Chart House

I was referring to two different items

I surfed that stretch daily for 5 years ('79-'84) before moving back to Santa Cruz County to raise my family. Was introduced to those waves by my wife and her family who have been surfing there since 1928.

the outer banks of north carolina went to eleven this afternoon for a few hours. surfed a sandbar that i haven't ever seen just north of the black pelican in kitty hawk. around shoulder high and as good as it gets around here i.e. tube fest. lots of dolphins around too.
luckily i have to work on thanksgiving tomorrow and was able to talk my boss into letting me have the afternoon off. unreal.
