Caught Rincon today for a lunch time session.
2-3' occasional 4' and beautiful shoulders with slight offshore.
Jumped out of the work vehicle around 11:45am to check Rincon praying there might be some swell from the storm and got very lucky. No one out at indicator with about 5 guys surfing the cove. Ran down and had more waves than i could paddle for, felt odd seeing empty waves break around the point on the paddle back out. Unreal. Beside that, there was a nice dusting of snow on the local mountains to make the scene that much more rare.
Got out of the water at 2pm and there was some sun showing, no wind and 2 guys heading out.
Fun size, great shape, and Rincon to myself for 2 hours!!

You live in SB? We should meet up sometime at Rincon or another local break, I usually surf evenings after work.Bill F wrote:wow ! I went by at 8am and then again at 12 and it looked like dribble...
You know how SB is, 5-10min between sets and usually plenty of 'close' friends to hangout with while you wait

Sure, Mason anytime! I work in SB and live in Oxnard. I'm moving to SB in June to the Mesa. At a girls birthday party my daughters car was shot with a shotgun, she was not near it but, a young girl lost her eyes. It was just a freak thing but the smart people are out numbered here in Oxnard. Way too many idiots here.So.......that was the end of the Nard for me. Maybe , I'll see you at Rincon .
