My guess is triple the membership list and your close. For every member I see in town I see twice as many not online.

Ive met maybe 12 other kneelos in the water over the last year and only one other had heard of this site

the last two ive met in the last 3 weeks and both were on Parkes boards  They were the first Parkes boards id seen in the flesh apart from mine

most kneelos round here ride strapper boards and leave it all up to Mick D to shape em how he sees it from what i gather -

this is an interesting question. the one i think about is how many kneeboard shapers there are. jeez, dont ever let em take the the same flight together. one mishap and we'll all be askin standup shapers for boards.

I know at least 10 that are very serious about kneeriding and ride excellent and have great equipment that could care less about contest, gatherings, or websites.

Now theres a point of interest - it would seem the web site/s have done a lot for kneeboarding lately

- you could be serious about kneeriding but not about kneeboarding

I have just come home from a wake..

..the ones that aren't generated from the back of a boat

and I want to say that I am neither a drone nor soldier.

Insects require things that we don't..(and I am sure vice versa)

ON TOPIC

I am with Jon..

:)

an educated guess

Back in the mid to late 90's we had a couple of well-attended national champs in RSA. I think the best was held at seal Point, near J-Bay..there were at least 5 full teams of 24 members, from cadets, ladies to veterans.

If you assume that say 50% of kneelos were into compo's then we must have had a kneeboarding population in RSA of about 200 to 300.

Surely in the USA and Australia there must be many more ?

So I would guess the world kneelo population at maybe 5000.

Cheers
