"To promote Camaraderie as a primary function and secondarily to offer monthly gatherings and a few competitive venues for those who wish to participate".
With a motto like that, in big fat letters, smack on the home page, who needs a name change? 'Nuff said. Hell, the USA needs all the friends it can get. I always figured the best way to solve the world's problems was to get all the world leaders to sit on the boardwalk wall together with a glass of wine for the sunset. KSUSA seems to be doing that.

Name Change
English - a second language to an Aussie ???If we want this sport to grow, we need to think of all the kneeboarders for whom English is a second language: The Puerto Ricans, the French, the Brazilians, The Italians, and The Australians.
Did we even learn English in the first place ???
We don't speak the Queens English in Australia - we speak Aussie.
Although "Shrimp on the Barbie" is a Yankee term - we "Throw a prawn on the Barbie".
As for the website having a name change - NO - leave it as is - if it aint broke, don't fix it !!!
HAVE SPARE KIDNEY - WILL TRAVEL FOR SURF !!!

Why is it that someone always comes along and wants to take over another man's work.
The KSUSA heads have worked hard to build this competitive platform for the USA and their collective vision.
This group has achieved a modern marvel within all KneeBoarding communities.
Leave it alone...it's not your's to meddle with.
These guys are doing just fine all by themselves.
Quit rockin' the boat....but then ya can't help yurselves.....yur KneeBoarders.
KSUSA all the way!
How about you interlopers starting an alternate site which best reflects what you want to represent for KneeBoarding as an alternate "InterNational" melting pot. Think about it, it would raise healthy competition to yet another level.
After all....how do you think this organization got started in the first place?

im not sure it was a take over plot.....more of an expansion whilst maintaing the controling bodies status quo
sorta like one state joining another then another then another and one day there was the "USA"
Strudle is a union man....would'nt you agree

Meddle? Who said anything about meddling? Yanks (opps! Americans!) take things to much to heart!
As dorje said "more of an expansion whilst maintaing the controling bodies status quo"
Three cheers for the Union fellas![/quote]
Site name...
Well, as you can see, I've tried to accommodate all with the logo change. I don't see a lot of value in changing the domain / site name unless it's a collective decision by all the various country kneeboard body reps... haven't heard much about it from them so for now, it's KSUSA...
News flash: I chose this software as it supports multiple languages. I haven't tested it but will add this to the list of enhancements. (No comments on the Aussie translator).
As for international membership, I think it should be phrased "international participation" which is absolutely one of the best features of this site.
This isn't Don's site... it's your site. Keep the contributions coming! Upload the photo's, use the calendar, keep pushing and sharing design and most importantly go share some waves w/ your fellow kneeboarders regardless of geographic boundries.
I'm listening to as much feedback as I can and will do what I can to make this site better for Kneeboarders (we're all from the same country!)
Ride On.
