Glad you guys enjoyed....

And thanks for your voting in the poll!

Strangely enough, I just had a phone call from a chick called Barbie. She was sounding a little nervous. Don't know why....

jfooj: Sneak at page 7 later 8) as soon as we get the animations back from Anime Isige Karmarki in Tokyo. Just worried they maybe too hot for publication

And scoop, let you know. Maybe we could advertise the magazine on the next sail you erect? (Now don't transpose those two words "sail" and "erect" as there may not be enough room to advertise the magazine in that scenario.

And yes Sparrow, Barbie has offered to pose for the centrefold in the December Issue. She is keen on the shared modelling assignment you sugested. There is a condition, however. She mentioned something about your wetsuit. She's worried it might make her less the centre of attention. Did you have something in beige perhaps?

Getting to smokin rock's comment:

A question: if every kneeboarder was a fantastic surfer, would there be more kids taking up the 'sport'? IE If a kid sees a kneelo ripping it apart is he more likely to say "that's what I want to do?"

And if it is true, is the antithesis also true?

And can we make the average kneelo a better surfer by sharing our techniques on this site?

Just wondering on your opinions.

sheath your sword mi amigo,
before you carve a big "Z" in my back let me first offer up to you that my sarcasm and indifference are only exceeded by my disdain for the obvious and my utter lack of tact.
you are a brave man to suggest that kneeboarding's not so gradual slide into the abyss is the result of completely un-aesthetic flailng by a large number of it's participants. if your theory is correct (if it is indeed your theory and not something i have heaped upon your poor shoulders) then we are certainly in our death throes. i'm not sure if any online technique forum could possibly impart enough technique and style to a bunch of stiff and creaky 40 yr olds to make enough of a difference to make a difference. we must accept that is nearly impossible for a 40 yr old to appear cool to a teenager no matter what he (or she) is doing with the possible exception of handing out cash.
that said, i applaud your effort and i'll shut my yapper and let you get back to bailing out the Titanic. bucket by bucket.

Smoldering Pohaku,
Screw the young punks, us old guys gotta have fun. or at least feel like we are. I'm sure that's the point of Zollo's proposed new forum.

40? 40??!!!! :!: :!: I take exception to that. I may be a curmudgeon my self but I'm well past 50. Yikes. Plenty stiff too.
