Hi Simon,

Your movie arrived through my letterbox yesterday - I watched it as soon as I got home from work last night. Now I've heard you are originally from Cumbria so my opinion is " It were proper belting that were!!"

Really good to hear kneelos wax lyrical as well as see them in the water, as people have already said the difference in the equiplment was a cool thing to look out for.

I hope there are plans for another one at some stage.

All the best
Martin

Hi Simon
What a mega piece of work one thing that comes across outside of the brilliant camara work , sound ,superb surfing etc and putting face's to name's is the power in the water everything seams so full on, Kneeboarding at this level is definatly extreme.
Thanks
Stu

Ken Emerson, who donated some of his hawaiian slack key guitar songs to the soundtrack, has also released a blues album a couple of months ago.
Give the gift of music and support a fellow surfer who supports KBers. I've been surfing with Ken since the early 70's and but could never get him to KB. His loss....but our gain.

I rec'd my copy a couple of weeks ago and I'm still amazed at Simon's surfing on a 6'10". Sign me up! After kneeboarding for almost 40 years I'm just as stoked now as I was then on finding and exploring new shapes and designs.

On another KB film note: bought my 19 y/o son an Apple PowerBook and the kid is a natural videographer & an editor. Now I'm scripting a new KB film: "Just Surfhorn".....only me kneeboarding all the time. LOL!!!!!!!!

Wish I had footage from the old days in Baja when I KBed naked.......lol

surfhorn..

deal done :D

jimbo..

deal guaranteed :P

on topic

as kneeboarders, we have seen much footage over the years that we (and many other surfers) have thought to be ground-breaking..

NSG 2005 is one of those films

As surfers (first and foremost), to ignore it would be a sin

As kneeboarders, to ignore what we see would be sheer foolishness

:!:

I strongly believe that this film will document our decade..

and yet

we are only half-way through it

I am so looking forward to, tomorrow

I just returned from getting a copy of the DVD from Freeline.
Now there's about 5 copies left on the shelf. John was working in the shop and it was busy in there...

Simon,
NSG05 is awesome....
Seeing everyone rip brings back memories like it was just yesterday..

I know after showing to a few local guys here, they will dust off their boards and get back into it.... I believe your DVD(s), along with this site could spark a new generations of Kneelos...

One of the biggest mysteries in life is when I see/hear of a Kneelo that quit Kneeboarding for Longboarding, when they hardly ever experienced the North Shore.....

After watching your DVD, they should get down on their knees and repent..

thanks simon for the movie and bruce for keeping a copy for me stocked to not only see simon doing what you expect (excell)but kneelos from all over ripping in waves of consequence from my point of view this movie is the tip of the iceberg it and previous movies from simon open the door on what could be ,theres a whole lot of kneelos i can think of that can cut the mustard in similar situations enough for movie after movie and still miss serious chargers great work everyone that was involved
