ding repair in san diego

I recently had Roper's reglass both rear canards on a quad after they were torn off and whoever did it butchered it. Both fins canted and toed differently and both wrong. The placement isn't even right. Hefty price tag to boot. The board feels like it's got the parking brake on. I don't surf the Rock, so I can say this out loud, ROPER'S SUCKS !!!!!! If I knew that some sixteen year old apprentice what going to F&*%# my board up that bad, I would have taken it elsewhere. Anyway, who else in San Diego would you trust to reset a canard quad set up ?

How long does a board need to dry out after a small ding that cracked into the foam before repairing?

usually a day will do if its a minor ding

PS: I had a 10" fin slash in the bottom of my board and took it in to froghouse. they did a sweet job on it and it may not look like new it does feel it.

If you can..........

Stuff a bit of paper towel into the ding with a couple inches hanging out.
Leave it where a breeze can blow over it for a day or so.
It'll act a s a wick and draw some of the moisture out, hastening the drying process.
