John S......exactly right about the Santa Monica surfcases! Good product.....I have packed my boards with extra foam and bubble wrap in regular padded board bags and paid the premium charged by the airlines for "special handling" ....... and they still manage to "special handle" the crap out of my boards and had me pay for the priviledge!!! Bastards!

If you do alot of travelling and want to preserve your boards, I'd recommend spending the extra $$$ and dealing with the bulk.....I think Santa Monica surfcase makes cases with built-in wheels to make them easier to tote.......their double board cases seem like the best solution.....

Here's the lilnk to Santa Monica Surf Cases:

http://www.surfcase.com/

All their standard size cases looks too narrow for modern kneeboards; but they do offer building custom size cases.

I have a Santa Monica surf case, plenty of room for my kneeboard, I pack it inside my padded day bag, throw in my wetsuit, fins, some clothes, it has wheels, only $25. to fly to Cali. Awesome case! :D

Check out the web site posted above. All of the dimensions are listed. The inside width on the half case is 23.5.

As Joe mentioned, what they sell you for kneeboards is half of one of their longboard cases and a cap to fit over the end.

Airwave makes custom board bags. Quality looks good. Heavy duty zippers. Prices seem reasonable. Email: <airwavesf.com>

I got a squid bag last year (7.0' triple board cover) which got my boards to Indo and back safely. Fitted 3 Kneelos (one 24' wide) easily..... has wheels too...and inner dividers....
Might be hard to get in the States though..
