Just Arrived
My wife and I just arrived at Camp Pendleton and it looks like there will be some surf this week. Just wondering where everyone will be surfing. Thanks- Chris Buscemi
If I say its safe to surf this beach Captain, then its safe to surf this beach. I mean I'm not afraid to surf this place, I'll surf this whole f@cking place!

you picked a great weekend to be in that area.
DMJs will be great. in addition, at the oceanside harbor there is going to be a little gathering known as "the fish fry". bunch of beautiful fishes from the top shapers, twins/quads - all sorts of awesome boards on display and for testing. it should be pretty fun to check it out. i'll be there on a red tri fin - so wave if you see another kneelo!

.......of course you've got DMJ's and O-side in your frontyard......lots of choices all over SD & OC........
......lots of cool KBer's in the area.......you won't have any problems finding some surf buddies !........

Welcome! I've been watching the charts and looking for an excuse to head up to DMJs for a few weeks - this weekend looks pretty good. I'll try to rally a few of the troops and see you up there early. We might even put in a good word for you with the Marines at the front gate (I'll PM you about "sponsoring" us).

Thanks everyone for all of the replies and info. I can't wait to surf this weekend. I think I will stick around the O-side area this weekend and work my way out from there.
There is nothing like being new in town and recieving such a warm welcome. Hopefully I'll see all of you soon. KSUSA is an invaluable resource.
