Mark,

Wow, what a list! Very positive, much to be thankful for. I can't believe all the locales you've been able to surf--that's fantastic. I was also neat to see the list of guys/gals you've surfed with and realize that, even though we live hundreds of miles away from each other, I surfed with about 37 of the same guys you have. Amazing!

Mark,

Thanks for the posting. You are right in all respects.

Martin and Toofast3, good friends and surfing with our children, it does not get any better.

Martin, how could I forget. I loved sharing waves with you and Sean at the River Jetties at last years gathering. I also shared a few with Sam & Joe Coyne. So much fun.

It made me so happy to see the young guys getting on it!

Yes, we all have so much to be thanful for now. I would love to hear from more of you.

Jerry,

My late aunt and cousin have a house in Arch Cape near Cannon Beach. It was at least 15yrs ago last time I'd surefed there. We went to that nice little point break up near you. Too small. Got some Short Sands and Fun ones off the N _ _ _ _ _ _ Jetty. I'll look ya up if I go up in the future.

Here's two reasons out of many.
Getting to meet and/or surf with guys like you Mark and getting to say &@#$ no! when people ask if I ride a longboard when they find out I surf at 49 years of age. Mahalo,Ken

I am really thankful that I found the site. I was still surfing a lot, but mostly the only KB'er around (until I converted Scott). Suddenly it seemed like we were everywhere. I have really enjoyed getting to know everyone at gatherings, contests or just impromptu surfs.
Really a cool bunch of people.

It has also been amazing to see how many different people just rip and to see how far equipment had evolved without my knowledge. But mostly - like KenM - I am happy to be able to still get to surf critical waves. At 48, going to Old Man's for anything but a BBQ is out of the question!

Now if I could just get Mark to spill where he is going to surf BEFORE he gets it perfect and empty life would be complete......

Mark great list 8) For me it's all of the above. ...One great moment of stoke happened @ 2005 USA Championships when the Groms went out for there heat :)
It was a good 8' on the sets @ the lane and for the little guys it must have seemed huge
I lost my voice screamming for them as did the rest of the crowd on the point.
Watching them take off was such a hoot it was just a great momment......

KSUSA is a positive force for the good of our sport lets keep up the STOKE

I'm very thankful for being turned on to KSUSA (by Darcy) and finding out that kneeboarding was still alive and well, especially in Oceanside. Hooking up with Craig was really a treat since we used to live on the same street in high school, yet hadn't seen each other in what, 30 years! I had switched to longboarding  and left my Mez Fish collecting dust in the garage, but I'm much better now 8) .
