I swore I'd never tell this story.

Blacks DP a couple years ago. It was still dark so we stopped at the gas station by the freeway first. I decided to try one of those power drinks instead of a cup of coffee. I got a bottle of Sobe. To say it went straight thru me is the understatement of the year. It was head high glass, no way was I coming in, and the Sobe was having its way with me. I can only say I WISH I had pee'd in my wetsuit that morning.

Confession is good for the soul.

a day of surf after a long night drinking kava all night? hmmm i dont think i can count that high heh heh. All i gotta say is i dont think i will ever borrow any of my kava mates wetties (wet suits) lol!

twice in one day for me, hehehe.
I cannot get myself to do it in my 6-4mm with hood, yuck!

i pee in my wettie every time i use it.
one of life's little pleasures.
Had a japanese guy we met travelling come and live with us for a couple of years once.all he had to do for a room in the house, was cook a couple of japanese meals per week and make sure there were cold home brews(we had 500 longnecks brewed at one point ) waiting in the fridge when we got home from work.
one morning Morio(japanese guy) paddled up to me and said in his best english"i need toilet".
i replied"farkin hell Moz,dont tell me about it just do it in your wettie"

which he did.

when showering in the car park, Morio pulls his wettie down.i stare pretty hard at the brown chunks all over his body .
"hey Mozza what the hell is that gear all over you?"

he smiles his big Japanese smile and says "i sh#it".

"yes you did ,didnt you" i replied.

i just walked away.i couldnt even look at him the whole walk home .
sick Japanese person.

That Moz is one sick dude--and to think you encouraged it! Ugh.
Peeing--now that's one great perk about surfing. Personally, at least twice a session. Unlike skiing, where one needs to find a restroom, remove all gear, trudge up metal stairs to cafe, whilst your ski partner/friends wait outside standing there waiting for you, getting pissed (no pun). What a hassle.
With surfing, i don't hesitate drinking that coffee/coke before any sesh, and let the caffeine's diuretic effect go hog wild.

a gazillion times!!!.... turned it into a strategy..... eventually realised that just about everytime i'm having a giant pee a set wave would come through... nothing more impossible that trying to cut off mid-pee and try paddle for a set.. so now every time I'm out and the lull's are getting a bit long I'll have a piss....... guarenteed sets!!!

No harm in peeing in the wetsuit, as long as you rinse it out with fresh water after the surf. Which is what you should do every time even if you don't go. Likely there's enough ocean water flushing through your suit while you're in the water (more so if you like to do stupendous wipe-outs) that there won't be much pee left when you get out of the water. Can't guarantee that for the walk back to the car, though.

In fact, you can suffer some serious health effects by not urinating when you need to go. Like urinary tract and bladder infections.

And I like to go before I enter the water, just to warm things up a bit.

"Depends" on the wetsuit. It takes forever for my Hotine to flush so peeing in that suit is a little kinky.

When I used to DP Moss I would drink a big cup of coffee followed by a ton of water. I was assured at least 4 pees/session there by enabling me to stay out longer.

You guys count the number of times that...? And then remember it later?
...oh yeah! that was the day I peed in my wetsuit four times, mighty good day, might good, fatrted 12 times too, yes, yess..."
This is an odd group.

Hotline once told me I voided their warrenty cause I peed in my suit
