So...

with that...

May I suggest the following change to the Yukon Jack label:

"Yukon Jack is a taste born of hoary nights, when lonely men struggled to keep their fires lit and stretch their fins.”

   :P

But, on topic, no... no, I haven't.

It's not a bad idea, but I just haven't had the need. It's been the same fins on the same size feet with the same booties for sooo long.

If I get a new pair, there's a break-in period where cramps happen. If it's that bad, I'll either go up a size or change booties.

I have exactly the same problem. I am using Churchill Med Large. The pair I have been using for several years, I broke the strap on one fin. So I started using my left foot Med Large Churchill which I bought about 2 years back, never used. Found this new one too tight, cannot wear with fin sock. Would be great to stretch it out some. I think the warm water idea is probably good, but would need some form (like an old shoe) inside to maintain the stretch after cooling. How about you try first :D and let me know.

In the mean time, I have order Da Fins a couple sets, with larger sizes.

Da Fins ?

Post by jimithesaint »

Hey for all you guys that are buying/using Da Fins I would be interested in hearing how they work for you.
I know Eric Carson said he didn't think they worked nearly as well as Vipers
Curios to hear opinions
Thanks

most comfortable fin ever and easiest on and off, with booties too. real close to vipers I think in power.Very light fin also but, not a small fin.

I have always bought my fins so that I can glue a bit of old wetsuit on the inside top and that means that I don't have to wear booties. I just find it is one less thing to worry about forgetting.
