East Coast Kneelos

Post by WaterLogged »

hey guys,

i say hey guys because i think i am the only chicklet on here. please correct me if i'm wrong.

i found another new york kneeboarder. woo hoo. he's also a matsurfer.

would anyone be up for east coast kneelo meetups if we ever get waves again? i would love to meet some of the experts from the site, get tips and pointers, see your boards and be totally jealous. maybe have a beer or two (or three or four).

I would. Let me know when it's overhead or decent. I am trying real hard to hit Montauk this year. How far north are you from 90th street Rockaway?

Overhead? Are you crazy? LOL. It should be overhead with the next Nor'easter or subtropical. Don't hold your breath, you'd get acidosis. However, with the next clean ankle slapper, you can pack your bags. :P :D

I live in Long Beach, and I'm about 5 miles from Rockaway. Sweeeeet! I have a very comfortable couch, you won't want to get up, especially if it's 7 degrees outside.

MTK is great place to surf. It was going OFF during Hurricane Noel. Too much for me, I'm afraid, I'm not in that kind of shape but soooooooo incredible to see.

Excellent, it's a four hour drive I would make for good waves that will last more than a couple days. And, I have a good camera :D

Hey, I have a couple boards you guys are welcome to try. I have a killer BLAST quad, and an awesome Australian ISLAND tri fin board, and I will have a third board, an Australian DRIFT board that I will get in March. :D 8)

I'm definitely in. I've got a few boards to bring.

Haven't been to NYC for a long time.

Mike, to get a couple of days of good swell we might have to wait for next hurricane season.

SICK! I have. Uh. Well, one board. And a bodyboard. You are welcome to try those out. ROFL. :P  8)

I don't know if you want me surfing on your boards. I am magnetically drawn to jetties during days of strong sideshore rips.

The surf is, in technical terms, El Garbagio for the next week for New York and New Jersey.

*sigh* COME ON NOR'EASTERS!

Sweet. Myself and a friend are usually the only 2 chicks out surfing in a sea of XY chromosomes. Get it? Sea? Ha ha. Surf humor.

Which is fine with me, because I have more guy friends than girl friends.

Heh, maybe we should come to NC. NC and SC have been getting better swell than the Northeast for awhile now.

Party at Gogglefog's house.
