More crap surf at K-man's local yesterday a.m. Had to leave early, likely really good in afternoon as I wasn't there. Today I have to work so most likely A grade all day. Tomorrow? I'm on it so crap again--count on it!

Who was thay guy in Lil' Abner comics that had the black cloud over his head and everyone would run when he showed up? I'm on a roll it seems. Hopefully won't last long till an new roll starts up...

Help Huey Help!!!

You no see my post?Look a little higher
State beach was pretty good this morning, after the morning sickness went away.''los banos'' rights were 3-5 sets.Less than a dozen folks out the entite length of beach.Everyones's fried,Sat up on route 1 and watched for awhile, looked really fun .Too tired to surf so I worked for 1-1/2hrs ....Don't want to overdo it....
I'll be out by about four, will hang around town and ride some small zippy lefts if it happens...Back on the swallow,it loves this stuff.
Swell will hang tight thru tomorrow.11-13 periods going down to11sec.Reefs may still be glorpy,so maybe state beach.Channel's not happening at these fat tides.Play it by ear.
Coming down?...Leave the dark cloud at home.

Yep!Swell is on the way up...Drove to cronkhite, watched.Ran to the city and watched some more.Few spots in the middle looked just OK.Should have gone straight to the city,as it was more better earlier.
3hrs 15$ poorer, and I'm back at the beach..And it's 1-2ft absolutely flat glass.Nice little zippy lefts, almost to small for my swallow.Hr later it's jumped 2-3..Just afew locals. One of the bros has the outdoor [hot]shower,I trim his fruit trees i get privileges. One of the ladies lives right on the beach, loves surfers, and always has a plate full of goodies.
And as a bonus we got snow on the higher ridges.
Life is good :D

Incredibly bad here in MD, NJ, DE. I have only surfed a handful of times since the championships in Santa Cruz. Local east coasters say this is an unusually bad bad fall, and winter.
Let's hope spring is better.  :x :? :(

I feel your pain Mike.

Same here in NY.

The storm track seems to have shifted north. Instead of lows barreling off Hattaras and striking for open ocean, they stay over land and don't make sea till Boston.
