3-5' Glassy peaks and hollow over 3 feet of water. Nice barrels for KB's: Casey, Mark R, Steve. Sorta red-tide though after the rain last week killed the near shore plankton. Dont bale dive deep or you'll break your freakin neck.

Friday morning I stood at Topanga with angle biters breaking on the shore. Caught a nasty cold and drove back to Aptos on Saturday and had to watch some great waves as I coughed like a seal.

Some gets the luck and some don't.

Here in god's country (SW WEST oz) we have a pumping 1.3m swell. This morning it had just enough grunt for a few lil ones at a very secret bay just west of Yallingup. But the big thing is, I pushed my 5yo into his first kneeling wave! I'm still smiling and so is he.

Gaz... very cool!

Conditions around here have been good. Highly recommend checking out conditions right now.

More favorable conditions on the way...

Yesterday, sans Scott  , Don and I did go 'there.' Scott, you were missed!

Before the walk in deeper, we tried the first break... looked good on paper, but was funky and heaps of people started filtering in.

We heard it was going bonkers on Thursday, with 30+ guys on it.

Heading in deeper provided no crowds and a much more hollow and challenging wave... :D

So... start packing away these conditions for the lean season... go get some!

The photo's were awesome Scotty.
Still only little here, I't's amazing how many people are in the water though, midweek, not one local rego in the carpark. That's cool.

Last two days...

Yesterday: Very fun. 12-2PM South-North-End. Tide was draining alot. Conditions were great, but wind went almost too North towards the end.

Today: Dropping swell, but still plenty fun. 11-1:30 or so. Same bar. Draining tide really put a hurt on the size towards the end. Towards the South still had some nice ones as I headed out.

Crowds were OK, but I did see some clusters worth avoiding.

It's perfect glass looking out on the Bay right now.

Classic conditions...

Surf should tick up tomorrow. Maybe another day of great conditions?

Looks like rain by the weekend. I've heard rumors of an Artic freeze as well.

ahhh... barrelfest last night at SS Bowl.. 1 boogie , 1 kneelo, 1 logger and 6 shortboarders! 2 of em being chicks.!

very crowded night sesh but none of em were used to surfing in the dark so they were pretty much a slolom course for the flippered crew way outside..

OH Peaks, OFFSHORE! and super Low tide......

Swell came in abit early...

OH and clean.

Syd, I'm leaving now.

BTW, Pipeline Masters is running. Check out yesterday's action in the video section. Don't know if it's running today.

Very secondary concern at the moment...

CYA!
