On Sundday the 12th there was another kneelo out at 54th st. newport, I never got his name, but I saw him get some good waves. And toby at fiatsurf.com got him on some pretty nice rights. Toby loves to shoot us kneelos out at newps.Any way if anyone knows him let him know.

ska that one is a 5'7" channell bottom quad with a baby swallow. i have really given the other designs a fair chance, but i always go back to ron. as far as toby and his web site, he always tells me he loves to shoot kneelos and anyone else in the water. if anybody wants to set up a session with him, he is available for that too.

A friend of mine said that the higher numbered streets in Newport are really competitive, and that if you aren't shredding hard you get yelled at and messed with. Do you find this to be the case, Max? The waves look so tasty, but I don't need any grief while trying to get my groove back...

pj it gets pretty crowded there ,but i have been in the water there for many years (not saying how many)so i don't seem to notice the crowd as much as some do ,and it helps if you paddle like a maniac 8)
if you show up there ,look around and you can find yourself a few
and just look for 2 bald kbers riding romos

Thanks Max! I would feel a lot more confident showing up there if I thought I had an ally in the water hehe.

I was out @ 56th yesterday, crappy but deserted, so it was nice to have anything that came thru to myself. I brought one of my employees out for his first surf session in like 3 years. So we were both wiping out but laughing our heads off
