Hello to, and a question for, the Vic Kneelos. It looks like I might get a chance have an extended weekend on Phillip Island in early May, (with some old stand board mates), we all come from warmer areas so, what will water temp be like then? and what sort of wetty (thickness) would do the job? Any comments appreciated thanks Phil

Hi Phil,
You will get some good waves in May water temp will be 13, 14 degrees you will need a 4/3 steamer and maybe a hood but will be well worth the trip.
pm me when you get there our Vic club is having a contest on the 23rd of may.
Cheers
Stan

Thanks Stan, I think the boys will freak out at the idea of 13-14 deg. I will bet they push the venue north into warmer water. But if I do get down this time (or any other) I will get in contact. From what I read on the Kneelo sites, it is still early days for the Vic Kneelo Clud, Good Luck with it. Maybe the Vic club could head north and some of the NSW clubs head south for a cross board comp/session? I am not a comp grade surfer but it would be great to watch. Thanks again Phil.
