Hi! My name is Eric Huffman better known as Bird in the surf circles in which I live. I have been asked by a few of you about possibly contributing some information and insight from the San Diego area. If this is truly the case and you all would like to here my thoughts please let me know and I will post periodic tales, photos and various other surf related things focused on kneeboarding in my area. These post would be as I see or remember it as I have no time for political squabbles.
This is a great sight and all should be proud of it!

Eric,

Welcome.

I used to surf at the rock ( a bit) some 30 years back, and was always impressed with the late take offs and square tube riding you did, and probably still do...

I would been keen to see some water shots of the intensity or even better some videos.

Looking forward to your commnets and stories...

Welcome Bird

Look forward to your insights. This site has helped build a real network particularly for those of us who weren't much involved in competitions.

The interchange of ideas and approaches has freshened things up - may not have attracted many young converts but it has provide new inspiration.

I'm grateful for the insight into fish designs, based on posts here my interest was sparked and I ordered a Blast fish and am currently awaiting my second one. It's being delivered with the assistance of an LA member of this site just another example of a good community spirit!
