Job well done!!!!
It was thanks to Rob`s efforts on the website that i came across k`board comps, since then i`ve had many holidays travelling to comps, along the way exploring new places, meeting people and going surfing.
I had a good lifestyle before that got better.
Always found Rob amiable and willing to share his knowledge.

P.S. Thanks to KSUSA for this site.
Happy Christmas to everyone.

Wow...my hat has always been off to Slats, he is/was a huge asset to the organisation, a huge cog in the engine so to speak. I dont think it will be the same without him, he has more skills than a small army.

And one of the most giving men you will meet.

Job extremely well done Rob 8) , you will be missed. :(

Wow, read your KSA post on the weekend Rob, still can't believe it. You have definitely played a big part in my being back to "the fold" so to speak as has Adam (Waka) as well as being a big part in most kneeboarders lives if not through your personal contact and stoke then through your photo's etc .... man ..... some big shoes to fill there ...... a big thanks from me for all you've done in the kneeboarding sense ........ but I'm sure we'll catch up for a surf as I'll probably be down your way a fair bit in the future. Good luck with your future focus.

Cheers WOLRUSS (Russell)

The passing of the torch. Oz kneelos will be a much poorer lot when Rob moves on next year. 8)

When my wife Jenny and I were down the south coast last year, Rob offered up his place to us sight-unseen, and then served as tour guide the whole next day. It was a fantastic experience for us. You'd be hard-pressed to find a more humble and gracious host.

Hats off to you, Rob Slater! See you in Oz!! :D :D

Correct me if I am wrong, but Rob helped some gromms by the name the Simpson Bros, sponsoring and encouraging and raising their profile through pics.

Im sure that they are not the only ones either.

So from a noisy budgie to a quiet achiever WELL DONE.
