Classic. I remember seeing them a couple of times at the Santa Cruz civic back in the day with my kneeboarding buddy Randy Cruse. I wouldn't have know about a lot of bands without knowing Randy... I always liked 'Watch the North Wind Rise' 8)

Like the Eno suggestion. Lots of his work could do.

Adding Midnight Oil's Nothing Lost, Nothing Gained...

...start @5:45 for those of us unlikely to surf Mavericks or the like outside of our dreams...

and the Beatles' a Day in the Life...

...did someone say CAT scan?

The only bummer is I haven't seen any songs which YouTube wouldn't delete the soundtrack from your video for copyright infringement. :P

Virtually anything by INXS or AC/DC too.

Of course there were some killer surf videos in the '80's with a good soundtrack, Water Slaughter had some cracking stuff on it, Quicksilver - The Performers was awesome, AC/DC, INXS, Pink Floyd, Simple Minds etc etc.

Mad Wax - got me into GangAJang.

and Billabong - Surf into Summer (how I wish that was available on DVD) with Abecedarians (never heard of them outside of that video - anyone got any?), TSOL (even if the "real TSOL hate that era of the band) and Agent Orange - think there's a lot of surf guitar in there too.

Of course Free Ride and Crystal Voyager had some good stuff too :)

And how can anyone forget the title song to Ace Cool's "In Search of the Biggest Wave" :P I've been trying for years! :(
