Congratulations Steeno!

FWIW on the credits, I'll bet there's a correction in the following issue...

Very cool they posted up the Maldives clip, and including a deserving nod on your surfing 8)

UNBELIEVABLE ! I couldn't be more surprised if I woke up with my head sewn to the carpet !! Something must have happened last night and we've been transported to a parallel universe where kneeboarders rule the earth!
Congrats Steeno, good on ya brother !

Thanks Guys
Its been a long road, but we at legless.tv are super super stoked to get this major run for kneeriding.

Scott Hulet told me he believes its the first time a kneerider has graced the cover of a major US surfing magazine.

We also have an 8 page story inside, with more images from Troy Simpson, Brian Manahan and myself.

Thanks to all the legless crew, Rob Harwood, Chayne Simpson and Albert Munoz.

And thanks to our extra super pro model Simon Farrer.

Thanks to

Facebook for the social media
Cyrus Sutton from Korduroy.tv.
Ted Endo
Steve Pezman, Scott Hulet, Jeff Divine from The Surfers Journal.
Stuart Nettle from Swellnet.com
Ed @ Magicseaweed.com

and Jerry from Oregon for pushing the extra buttons 8)

And all the KSUSA members for keeping me pumped to deliver images

cheers

steeno

My pleasure, Steeno. As I said, all I ever wanted was to see something like this in a major surf publication, sometime in my lifetime. Now I can die in peace. But I think I'll take my time  Congratulations to you all 8)

had to ring post office today regarding hunting down a book that left the shop in New York on Nov 28th :?

Post office suggested there is a delay of 6 to 8 weeks on many packages from the usa to australia.

Relative to a package ordered from the uk on the 29th of december and got here the other day.

So if in ozz and your going to order the journal at the moment, perhaps do some research into various post costs and a tracking number.

Some basic class mail from the usa provides a number that can confirm the item has made to ozz. Others have no tracking at all.

Yet to work out why one bookshop can provide a (arrived in australia) tracking number and others no number for cheapest rate air mail. With the basic arrived in ozz number at least you know it made customs.

The expensive mail can track all the way to your door but it can be three or four times the cost of the item.

if somebody has the oil on getting around the current postage situation, please do tell

personaly Im a bit shy about putting in an order for the journal just now though i look foward to it being on the table when "stand up" mates pop in.

Actually would make the perfect bithday prez for one or two of them

Well here in the swamp there are no quality newsagents, so ... I just went here
http://www.surfersjournal.com/subscribe and subscribed, just like EQ said.
Cost me money I shouldn't spend, but what the hell, you only live once, eh?

Until it comes, I guess I'm gonna be whistling by the mailbox ...

Big Congrats to you Steen, and Albert. That series of pics from that morning were unreal! The quality of your work Steen is amazing and we all appreciate your contributions to kneeboarding!

I can't imagine many surfers not taking a long second look at that cover and being stoked. Should make for some interesting talk around the surfshop counters I would imagine. I'll be fun to stop by CSS next time I'm in there...I know they'll be stoked, and blown away frankly 8)
