Hey all! Today in Newport, it was great meeting, greeting, surfing with (and most of all, taking notes about the techniques of) some extremely skilled kneeboarders who post on this site. Thanks for being hospitable, Joe and Amanda, for the board design advice, Max (I'm thinking a new Romo is in my distant future--other expenses take priority at the moment, but I'm really excited about the notion of a brand new Romo now), for the shop talk, Randy, and to EVERYONE I met for being genuine, friendly and giving me something to work towards with my kneeboard surfing. I honestly didn't know there was going to be a bunch kneeboarders meeting up down there, so I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the ensuing domination of the peak at the jetty. Keep it up fellas (and Amanda!)!
I can't wait to see the pics (I hope there's one of me cutting back, as opposed to the today-all-too-common free-fall and subsequent "SPLAT!")!
