Lesson in this story somewhere.

I am a traveller of both time and space, a weaver in and out of dreams, I see worlds seldom seen.

Almost happened to me on my first boat trip out there--night crossing, woke up feeling the seasickness coming on, everybody else sleeping...bolted for the door, then right outside the door went for the stainless steel railing to puke over...what I didn't know was that the railing right there was removable for swimming. It was just sitting there with pins in holes..so when I grabbed it, it popped up out of there and I was looking at the Indian Ocean mere feet away and with the rocking of the boat I almost went over...didn't help that I already felt like death warmed over. I got an immediate shot of adrenalin though, like somebody slapped me in the face, grabbed something solid and held on. The lesson I got from it, is to always, always keep your wits about you on a boat, especially when moving, and especially at night. Oh yeah, great trip after that, lost the seasickness as soon as I jumped in the water at Rifles, didn't get sick again (until the next crossing a year later  ).
It's already good tomorrow...
