But really it's the same old Jerry. The kneelo formerly known as Jerry from Seaside is now Jerry of General Luna,Siargao Island,Surigao del Norte,Philippines. I won't get my trusty iMac for a month and I couldn't remember my password so I started a new account. And I only had a few more posts to go before reaching Legend status. But on the bright side, I have seen a 30 degree F. increase in both water and air temp. Also been surfing perfect small waves for 2 weeks, usually by myself, in the most beautiful water I've ever seen. Anyway,as I always said when I was in Oregon, your all invited to come surf with me. I'm just a stones throw from Oz and my friends from Cali just need to go less North and more West.

I love that island. I stayed outside of Pilar for a month back in 1996. Such good times and waves. The people are even nicer. You probably already have a boat, its necessary or it was back then. One of my favorite waves has a similar name to a famous Mexican beer, that place was always bigger and a blast. A kneeboard on that island would be insane, Can't say I'll ever make it back there due to time involved to get there.

Pilar had a festive were everyone opened their house and free food was had by all. That place is a gem.

Cheers.

Sounds good jerry, but has the water started glowing yet from Fukashima ? Night surfing could be an option to avoid that nasty tropical sun 8)

Aloha Jerry,
I have never met you, but followed your story on KSUSA. I hope you and your family are safe after Haiyan passed through. The size of that hurricane was crazy. So broad and so intense!
When Iniki hit Hawaii it took Kauai years to recover. Same with Sandy on the east coast. And this storm looks more powerful!
Drop a post on KSUSA to your kneelo family so we know how you doing.
Concerned for all those in Haiyan's path.

Thinking of you Jerry. Looking at all the news photos and am hoping your not one of the thousands of poor people looking for water, food, toilets... So much lost, things we don't even consider in our lives.
