Everything ok here, surfed a sweet six foot left reef today for three hours without gloves. Even made a suck out air drop. Man I like this wave! Off to another reef. 8)

G--H--R is just too spooky for me, too many tales of the Landlord showing up. There is an immense break in that area that shows itself there on certain swells that may one day become known to all.

I know that NorCal has been awash in some of the best run of overhead clean surf in recent memory, while SoCal has not been so blessed. Some in that area have found new ways to ride the barrel on smaller days. This video looks eerily similar to the Kneelo Cove crew in action...

G--H--R-- can get really good sometimes. Both the north and south sides. Best in the Summer when the swells are smaller and more southerly. I surfed it a bit in my youth. Beware of the sketchy people who hang out in the parking lot.

Scott, that video it too funny

Don't know GHR, but sounds knarly. I felt like it was time to search for more reefs K-Man. Maybe next year. I'm like a vampire, I have to be invited into your abode, er surf spot. I wouldn't mind making this adventure a yearly thing.
Having a great time. I'm around Morro now, over 1000 miles on the car so-far. Surfing overhead everyday, with not more than five people around me at any given time.
I have had a few magical moments. I would like to thank Scott and Barry. Swell is suppose to pick up, might snag a few more reefs before going back to the crowds.

Well, since it seems we aren't going to get winter weather, at least we're getting winter surf :)... Conditions in Norcal lately have been nothing short of epic--no wind, lots of surf...today was 15' faces at 18 seconds, very powerful yet buttery smooth :D. With no end in sight...
It's already good tomorrow...

The reefs are overpowered. The channel rights are going nutz.Well overhead on the sets.Doesn't get much better for this shallow bay.Swells gonna jump by the morn....should be interesting.Swell report for bo says 2-4.... Sands getting pushed off stincon,Maybe we'll get some decent bars. The place hasn't broken in quite a few yrs.Can be a fun beachbreak...very fickle.

Central Florida this week feels like somewhere California-air and water both in the low 60's and ENE swell at rib to chest high+ with 5-15mph offshore all day tomorrow.

Glad for you Eric!
On another note, I had a couple PROPER (big) tubes today. No proof, but I did see Billy, Jack and Steve in the lineup. 8)

Further up the east coast we've switched over to using our boards as toboggans.......

Been out of the water for a wile. Got back in today at log hog heaven. San-O got a few big walls that the loggers wanted nothing to do with.
