you know, about 12 years ago??? we had a comp against the woolongong guys up here in Newie and beat the pants off them ( of course), but while we were patting ourselves on the backs and siping our hot coffees on the beach afterwards we happened to see one of the simpson twins free surfing down the beach. Waves were onshore slop 4 foot or less.
On one wave he pulled off a full bore bottom turn, bored off the lip and came down in a complete 360 -
it took me twenty minutes to find my false teeth in the sand after they fell out of my mouth (which stayed stuck open all the rest of the day) - and I reckon some of the other blokes never found theirs and had to be content to pull out their old wooden ones to chew on their celebratory big macs ,
so it's all relative I guess, spinner or full bore 360, spinner or full bore 360 hmmm
