Kneeboard Glassing

Post by fincut »

What is the glassing like on a typical kneeboard?

I think Buddy said he glassed two layers on the bottom as well. Does hes use 4 oz or 6oz? Is that right? My board has been going strong for 10 plus years with some serious impact drops.

What about the Australian Shapers?

Anybody really concerned on weight, never seemed a factor to me.

Hi, I usually go with a 6oz and 4 oz on deck with a 4oz bottom. Weight does make a difference to me and I like them light and lively! Not often I get to surf anything that would worry me about the board breaking though would definitely go heavier if that was the case.
