All,

Simon "Now & Then" is getting ready to go to production!

He's asked that we take a poll so he knows what to order...

Here are the formats (DVD and VHS)
NTSC - North America and some other countries use this
PAL - Australia, NZ, SA and parts of Europe use this
SECAM - Parts of Europe use this

Basically, televisions in various parts of the world require different formats and it's based on the # of frames per second and size... use the guide above for reference. This isn't an exact poll... just a guesstimate.

when the vhs claps out we will upgrade to dvd so keep some spare pal dvds on the shelf

I'll buy one NTSC and one PAL DVD. Everyone who can afford to purchase more than one copy should do so. This is a great way to thank Simon and spread the stoke of kneeboarding!

since we cant get the troops out by christmas....... will the vid be out by christmas

(aussie election black humour)

also can I plead again the case of vid posters for collectables - these images I feel really do create a mythology and an inspiration - id be stoked to see one of my kids or even a grand kid hanging on to framed kneelo poster - also another way to promote the activity

I don't think you should pass on the leather tool belt. I got one and the missus just loves the look.

Along with the new DVD I'd love to see an out-takes DVD with interviews and stuff. Get the message across about the characters/lifestyle and not just the surfing.......Sparrow?

Hey Brendan,
I hear what you are saying but Im already one step ahead!
The next video is going to be the Hawaiian gathering in Feb 2005 & this video will be a much different approach to previous, including board design & interviews allowing a much more personal feel & an opportunity to have all who is going to surf great waves in warm water & have their say!

I promise I have not forgotten your first request about the posters.
It has been placed in priority of my to do list though it keeps slipping down the list due to, well!!!! lots of things!

I like the idea & would love one myself.
It will happen & I promise I will let you know when they are available.
