The weather is GORGEOUS today....and they are calling for the temp to hit 80F later this week. Looks to be a bit of NW running. Now, if we can keep these conditions, the contest should be a hit.
Plus all the area wineries and apple orchards are full of product to sample.
I'll pull together some contact info for those of you who would like to sample the produce of Santa Cruz County.

Yowza!!!!!! I suggest everyone start picking up their raffle tickets to win one of 7 new KBs at next week's contest!!!
I ran by the Freeline factory and checked out the KB that John is donating. It is one of the sweetest fins-forward quad swallow tails that I've seen. The nose has the perfect shape/width for those bigger days when you're out looking for those big, backdoor barrels.
And all it takes is one buck to make the dream become real.

Check out the wetsand 8 day forecast link on the home page of the site. The prediction is for 8 to 10 foot @ 16 secs for wednesday of the contest. I also checked stormsurf, they also predict a pick up in the swell. It looks like we will have some surf at least as big if not bigger than last year. Keep your fingers crossed!

Better lay in a stash of 9'0" Da Kine leashes.....I can rent 'em out to everyone from SoCal!! lol
Weather is gorgeous here. The construction mess as the contest site is completely cleaned up and we're ready to rock. I'll drop raffle tickets off at Freeline tomorrow so everyone can get a jump one purchasing their chance at 7 KBs. Surf Tech has donated a brand-spankin'-new 6'0" fish this year.
