2004 Santa Cruz Kneeboard Festival Video Clips
Hi, everyone. Yes, the Pleasure was at the Point for sure. With Don Harris currently out of town, I can't get anything posted directly on the site for awhile. However, in the meantime at the bottom of this post is a link that will take you to a Yahoo! site where I have placed the following for your enjoyment:
a. a two-clip shorty that will give you an idea of the fun surf we had (sorry--I can't identify the two AAA riders in the first clip), and includes a dandy of how Barry Baker solidly surfed behind, and then over, a long-boarder who actually took off in front of him in the finals of the Open division.
b. the celebrated Ed Quinn Interview that was played for the whole gang on Friday night. It is in two parts for those who want a somewhat smaller download, or the full version for those of you with broadband.
Note: the files are only in Windows Media File format (sorry, mac guys!), and will only play on Windows Media Player version 9 or higher. You may go to www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/download to get that version.
The link for these clips is:

Outstanding
If this was an indicator of the good times had at Santa Cruz, it must have been OUTSTANDING.
I have to get out there to enjoy the krama next year.
Fun interview Scott.

Hey, I too got all excited when I first read the title of the post--alright; someone's putting up some video! I just love kneelo video! Then I saw my name and the 2004 date. How depressing; I know the quality of my own work!
Not to worry, I am at work on some nice clips from this year, and I have a new site I'm investigating on which we can all have nice access.
I hope to bring ya'll something about one week from now. For now, enjoy the outstanding pics that Darcy and crew are puttin' out there--very professional. And for the very best in video, pick up a copy of Simon's new film!

Caveman,
I checked out your site. Looks nice, easy to use. Limit of 4.5 megs of video per file is a bit small: say less than 1 minute of good looking video. A site that I hope to post on is making a stir in a number of papers, and it goes on line (free posting up to 100 megabytes!) beginning this Wednesday. Go to http://www.glidedigital.com for more info.
Great surfing at the Lane contest, Eric, BYW. I've been looking at some nice clips your wife took of you in some of your heats!
