Fin/flipper savers
Im using oversized flippers due to wierd claw toes that get mutilated easy - didnt realise new technology - churchills in particular - have nice soft rubber in top area when i purchased last set - (on sale and cheaper model)
So
Im wearin fin savers but they are a pain. Without a tag to easily find the end I spend some time increasing dork factor by struggling to unleash them in the shore break. My new, high qulity leg rope has tag that makes it easy to recognise end and unleash
any australians know of a good brand with tagged ends available here?
will eventually save up and buy smaller size flipper - or find vey thick bootie perhaps

Dorje - try O&E (Ocean & Earth) I've been using them for a couple of years now - they have tag ends and have neoprene backing with webbing straps that don't dig into your ankles !!!
You don't even know they are on you ???
They are about $15-20 ???
Mail: Ocean & Earth, PO Box 22, Sussex Inlet NSW 2540
Factory: Ocean & Earth, 12 Springs Road, Sussex Inlet NSW 2540
Email: mail@oceanearth.com.au
Or try these links for other brands ???

Dorje,
I have got problem feet also (gout) but I found that going to a more fitted fin I encountered less pain. Was wearing Hydra Tech whick have a rounded foot well which lets the foot move around. Went to the Tech2 with a shaped (semi fitted) well and less toe cramps and pain. Pretty expensive fins at $120 though. Like Techno I use the OE savers (Tech2 fins don't float!). Very comfortabl;e and quick to get off.

The only bad surfing day is one where you don't.

i willl probably stitch in a loop
but on going out to the shed and looking at the fins and the savers and pondering the possibilities from the suggestions, the savers that not only save your fins from being lost but keep them on your feet are appealing
in Oz it seems the kuffs brand and ocean and earth perform this dual role
