Just got home myself.. Went back to OB.The swell seemed bigger, but not better, great conditions though. The tide killed it early, and most of the crowd went wine tasting?... so I waited around for the ebb,and sure enough, the next window was just fine, maybe a ft or so bigger on the sets.No crowd.. 8) Got in at VF's,got out lincoln.

cheers!

PS..bonus!...Just watched godzilla 2000..in spanish!

MidAtlantic finally went off Friday, first decent swell we've seen in months. A good time was had by all from SC to NY.

am confernece call from the beach today, small but crowded. Hit mid beach 8:30 ish. oily surface, chest high barrels saw three tube rides as walked into the water. Got some nice ones was out position for a few head high ones, oh well; tide filled in, crowd got to me so I left with a nice, short session. wished I had the stubb with me.

Stiff this morning, skiied all day at Alpine yesterday, great weather, nice snow low crowd. The winds are coming soon  I have to get it while I can now.

K-Man. That was me. I did not even know you were a kneelo until you said something. I had been working in LA all weekend and just as I drove up the wind switched onshore. I was just grumpy and focused on getting anything I could. I did notice that your flashpoint went pretty well in the marginal surf. By the way, that was SFKneelo's old board.

Thats' what I remember about Ocean Beach.no one would talk to you when you first paddled out. I starting catching all the big set waves, coming from way deep. Then they all wanted to be my friend .

I was wondering if it was that board... but 'orange and white' stripes?

NEVER will I infringe upon that which is Bob Gove

RED and white... with differing widths of the stripes. It has a lot of float, which worked well for me in medium size stuff, but is more a small wave board for a guy the size of Bob.

He ended up changing the fin configuration on it... tri-fin, Bob? I can't remember.

I thought I had pics around... guess not.

The Red vs. Orange thing reminds me of when my Mom went out and bought the family a red Morey Doyle. It faded to pink in no time. NOT good!

Yes, red stripes. That board is for sale. $100!!! Still in as good a shape as the day you sold it to me.

Should be ridden as a Parkes style four fin.

I still have all the original FCS fins for it.

$100 is a really good deal!

Uh oh... despite the flogging I'll get from my Minister of Finance, I'm interested!

But, didn't you change more than the fins? I thought you changed the whole configuration... box placement... maybe even a tri? Changed it, then changed it back?
