Lighthouse today
double to triple overhead on the rideable waves...who knows on the closeouts. Pipeline like double-ups on the inside. lots of broken boards and one wasted jetski in the last few days with even bigger stuff coming tomorrow. 8) winds are kona and howling offshore. typical Big Isle. 1-2' one week.......scratching for your life the next.

got some in the south corner of Baker Beach in SF yesterday. A few years ago I lived across the street and loved to get this place on a big swell all to myself. Shared it with a few guys yesterday.

There was so much debrie in the water I knew I would get sick. I feel like hell today.

Great job! You named the spot so only those that surf there know which spot you are talking about. Great respect for the locals even though there aren't many left. Your courtesy is much appreciated. I am being totally serious.

Thanks!!!

Pardon my interruption,That and a few other spots there have been known and surfed for what?40+?so well known it's ridicilous!,and I'm being totally serious......Let it go........

Crap surf the last few days over here. The north reefs are out of control. The channel is crapploa also. The bars are overwhwlmed, not a very clean swell.Lot of sand pulled off the beachie.Few more biggies and we might get state beach in a month or so.Hasn't broken good in two yrs.

cheers

Parts of Santa Cruz were so fogged in this afternoon you couldn't see the waves at all from the beach. My favorite place above Mitchell's Cove was 15' and really goin' off, but about 35 guys in the water--it was one of the few places that wasn't fogged in. Too many guys.

So it was back to Pleasure Point and paddling out into the fog, not knowing what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised. The fog sure knocked the crowd down (about 10 of us) and enjoyed fading swell but still with occasional sets up to DOH surf. Got one or two that I'll remember for awhile along with paddling out into the mist.

Finally. Solid NW wrap hitting select eastside outer reefs with straight offshore winds. Feeling pretty happy right now.
