Jimbo I've scheduled myself in at 12 noon on mondays for the past 6 yrs. About 4 years ago it was always a thin crowd on Monday mornings. Now....alas I agree; how the hell do so many people get the time to surf. Any time, any day it's always crowded. That's why it was a miraculuos day :!: 8)

Jimbo,

Where I surf the circus comes to town in the summer! All day every day crowded surf. Like ants. I usually check and check and check for a break in the crowd. But in the winter, which is really better anyway, crowds are relatively thin. If dawn patrol is on it, I can always go at lunch. It helps to work at the beach but my job, ... and my boss rule!

FROM STORMSURF:

Another broader system is forecast under New Zealand Saturday (5/31), but we have no faith in the models that far out. So for now, go to work or school and catch up on all the things you've let slip this past winter...... Never!!!

cheers

It looked surfable, but I didn't go...

I'm thinking about tomorrow AM, and hoping the size remains do-able and winds stay off it.

Don was heading back today. I've been trying to get Jay Stapo and him to hook up, but no response so far.

I'll probably head up sometime after DP, maybe leave around 7:30 or so...

Jay, look at your call log. There's a 650 area code number that tried twice. That's my cell... give a shout! Don't know if you have gear. I do... but I'll need to know tonight or early tomorrow AM...

K... if you're heading over, let me know! I'll check PMs before I go...

Save your $$$... :(

Right now... waist high or so, wind about 5-7 from SW. Weak.

There's a hint of longer-period small stuff, but not much.

The rest of the week isn't looking very good. There looks to be a slight pick-up Thursday. Just about flat until then.

Did you find anything, K?

It's a nice drive to cron;but at 4.03 a gal abit expensive... Glassy,it would have been rideable[for me]It was blown, and choppy, waist to chest, and not worth the effort.

Love the thought!

With all of the new-found time on my hands, I 'invested' in a six-pack of Jamaica Red Ale... to help with the heavy lifting in the garden starting... now! :D

Also bought three more bags of Cocoa mulch. The kids are circling it with salivating confusion...

Oh, and to keep it partially surf-related... the Globe Fiji contest has been experiencing web-cast problems, but was working last night. Round 3 continues around 7-8AM their time.

I bet Fort Point had waves this morning...-1'9 tide (incoming) and 3-6foot wind swell.
