Vicco Kneelos Kitty Session

Post by mFox »

Hey Vicco's,

Irish has his birthday this weekend and will be allowed to go for a wave :-) so...... We've got the right conditions, already have Him and pommy getting out there along with Niel O, Gary C, Anthony T, Me.
How about we get as many kneelos hitting it at the same time to take over the place and really piss the foot boarders off :-)).
Red, Stan get your asses over there. Jimbo are you in town??? Bouldy? Kev? Shaunsie? Anyone else???
Be at Kittie's Carpark Sat 13th ready to hit the water at 6.30-7am. Wind will be right, Swell will be right, low tide is not too low so your knuckles should not be scraping for too long.

Niel and Gary's Camera's will be on.

Come on guys........... out there!!!!!

8)

that sort of thinking is what we need down south
the kneelo crew up here have get-to-gethers once a month

it doesn't have to be super competitive, eventhough a few will make it that way
but a chance for everyone to have a go and a chance to meet and greet and share boards and talk lots of crap

Hey Guys,

Sorry about the short notice but them's the breaks :-) Next one will have more lead. Still, the 5 of us, Neil, Red, Anthony, Gary Finger (great to see ya out there) and me, had some fun with the 25+ knot offshore and crossed up swell (not the greatest but surfable).

All ours for a couple of hours and not a foot boarder in sight. Irish n Pom couldn't get mobile due to party mode no doubt, not a prob, that's what BDays are for.

I'll keep this going as a contact for Vicco kneelo's who want to get together for a wave or two. Your call or mine, just keep it in the spirit of the thing.... We are out for a good time with all of us sharing what ever is on hand. Hoot and holler at rad moves, laugh it up at the sets on the head or bottomless void drops (yours Stan :-)) and a learning curve for the benefit of all. If your going to turn up with the intention of being a pain in the arse and spend the session trying to DROP IN or SNAKE to prove to yourself that your nothing but an asshole with "Triggs Tricks??" (yes Budgie!) Don't turn up. This is for a, a good time surfing NOT hassling. Leave that sh*t in a bucket by the dunnie and your welcome, but turn up with an attitude like that and you'll end up having the rest of us targeting every wave you look at. Can't make it clearer than that.

So guys, balls in the court up to us to hit it. Let's try to make it a regular thing to ENJOY.

as I said above , I'm pretty good at making a bad wave choice and finding the elevator drop to oblivion
so I think I can give Stan some competition there

as for regular,
the guys up here on the Sunshine Coast manage to do something once a month
I'm sure we can get something going on a regular basis back home.

Hey Mr McKnee, your right about how it was getting a wave at the Di  Madness it was. Great to get away from it... still have to fight the urge to surge now and again. Good grounding though.
Hey Kev, we'll have to consult Stan about having a Drop a thon.... But!!!! you'll need an extra expendable board..... I'm not sure but Stan's not quite up to breaking another board with the baby budget over his head :-)

Have a good one guys

hadn't thought about that bit
Stan can bust a board much better than I can

so far I've been lucky and don't seem to be anywhere near the board at the end of the drop
I may think I can make it but everyone knows, well before me that things are not right
the flippers flapping in free air and the board already heading elsewhere for safety could be a good clue
but Stan
hangs on to the board as well as hope and the board is far more at risk when he does it
mine probably look much funnier though
