I spoke with the kid taking these pics when I got out of the water on Saturday morning.

I snapped my legrope......had a two leg simultaneous cramp...went over the falls...swam a long long way...got caught inside...got flogged...tied my legrope back together ( making other surfers a little nervous )...then got some cracking barrels.

the next day the swell was gonski...so were my cramps.

oh one other thing...
there was a big fat dead bloated dolphin washed up on the beach with bites out of it.
A couple of humpbacks out the back and huge schools of fish everywhere....so my swim back to my board was a quick one.

A few but there were waves everywhere.

I didn't see era but a mate said it was good until a group of 6 blokes all jumped in and sat on the only take off spot.

Era is good for sick days in non school hols.

Yeah, last Friday and Saturday were great. Surfed Cronulla Point both days. Saturday was cleaner and a tad more solid. Hit the water on Saturday morning at around 5.30am had second reef with just two other guys for two hours - a nice swell like that spreads the crowd around. Point boys finally decided to run the club contest and then the crowd moved in. Did a quick check on Windy Point and it was going off too - as good as I have ever seen it at around the 5 to 6 foot mark - very hollow, very fast.

Have checked Garie a few times lately - mostly on the smaller swells hoping the wave magnet is working - but its been too small or onshore early. It looks like there's a nice bank up near the creek. Also seems to be a lot of sand at Era at the moment which can have a negative inpact on the point.
