I'm having to bow out. Picked up some work in Sydney and have to fly out Sunday. would've been a very early start for me any way.

Ok guys, by my count so far we've got 7 starters who else is coming ? the swell probably going to be smallish, monday or tuesday there's a new swell hitting still could be 3' I hope,

I'm not a local so my location description may be off

He was doing general repairs and stuff
said he was still surfing occasionally
and a few of his boards were in the workshop with,
I think,
a fresh blank ready to go

nice bloke
we had a long chat
I'm sure that old single fins and restorations came up in the conversation
it seemed that there was good money available for restorations of all sizes

that was about a year ago

Michael!!! Yes thats right his Dad was my fathers brother...I have only met him briefly about 28 years ago. Glad to see he is still around. Never got to surf with him, never will now I suppose...

Yes Rick I am sure I'll come home one day for a visit - but I'm a Central Coast lad. Be a while too - just about to take a huge step into the financial unknown so that I can live within walking distance of a break..

Its a long way up there......be good to get in touch with Michael though.

been getting flogged at work again - storm season has me dragging D-heads out of cars in swollen creeks every shift at the moment.

I look like getting down Kingy way for a surf in the next week or two ???
