McKnee,

CLASSIC.

I can't believe you found the shaper AND the glasser.

I think they were last shaping under the "INBREED KNEEBOARDS" label.

When I asked them how payment was to be arranged, they said "You sure got a pretty mouth...squeeeeeel like a piggy!!!"

Kidrock ask " where the flex comes from in the pendoflex". Steve Pendarvis goes back to grass roots in the evolution. Except it's not his current attempt at marketing, it's been his focus since Lis went fish. He and others alike took GG's direction and continued on. Underneath the, what appears to be, an inlaid pad it is hollowed out and pure glass-true GG!!! All foam gone as in SPOON, just inlaid for a flush deck, with his magic formula. If he's producing "kneeboards" and not just short stand-ups, thats BIG news for our tribe!!!!!

Mollusk shop boards

Post by speedreef »

Saw the Pendoflex at Mollusk. Are they good all around boards or condition specific ( the fish shape) Also any comments on the Simsfish (from Swift Movement) there--more different than anything that came after it-- and it looks hella fun.

Back in the mid 90's or so Shawn Ambrose shaped me a killer 5'10" swallow tailed four fin with marine ply single foiled fins. Pendo always did the deck pads for me. Well, I drop by to pick up my board and he gives me my board and he is kind of laughing and giving me the haha I did something that you find out about until you ride the board.
Steve carved out the deck of my board with his classic wibulation formula and put in some shallow kneewells.
Man that board smoked! Too bad the fins delammed and split apart. I think I may get it retro fitted w/ LocBox.

Not quite GG spoon but not too far away either.

Wino, both Pendo and Ambrose are featured in article on flex in the latest Surfer's Journal.
