All,
I started KBing about 8 years ago (formerly sponged with some longboarding thrown in there which I still do). I went at it hard for the first five years or so, but have definately hit a plateau. (e.g. I pretty much feel like I've been riding waves the exact same way for the last 3 to 4 years).
I guess this could apply to just about any aspect of ones life, and in some-ways may seem straightforward, but with KBing in mind in partucilar, any tips on how folks have either upped their game, or just re-stoked themselves on the sport after kind of hitting a wall or being in a bit of a funk?
All advice welcome.
Thanks!!!!!

Ah Grasshopper, you must embrace your inner grommet!!!
And do what the other guys said. Clubs, contests and surfing with other kneelos is definitely the best way. Not to mention a new board always helps. If you can't afford one you could always trade in the mal.
Perhaps set goals like coming to Australia for the Worlds next year, which would mean entering the US titles next Jan. This would definitely give you something to strive for, to give you that extra push when your feeling a little off.

Surf multiple boards and multiple breaks. Same turns will put you in different parts of the wave. Variety is the spice of life. From there you will start surfing better on your everyday board. Two weeks ago I surfed four different spots and rode three different boards all in four days based on swell, wind and wave style. It was way more fun than surfing the same board at the same spot every day.
Good Luck.
