Big Congratulations to Evan for the win.
Hat's off to Brad for the overall points win for season two.
A big thanks to everyone who participated, and family/friends who helped and supported the fellows over the last 9 months.
We invite you to come out and watch the road to the National Championships to see who will be the next NSSA Kneeboard Champion, starting with the West Coast Finals at the Huntington Beach Pier May 15th-18th.

Alright, the NSSA West Coast Championships are here! You must enter by tomorrow, overnight mail. If you missed any events, you must pay $70. per event missed in order to enter the West Coast Championships. Entry fee for the WCC is $110. Must be separate checks if you missed any contests.
If you have any questions, just ask me.
NOTE: This is the NSSA West Coast Championships, the culmination of five NSSA kneeboard contests held by the NSSA, not the socal kneeboard circuit as incorrectly stated by that tahiti_nui guy!
Good luck all!

Head high to one foot overhead and peaky waves greeted the kneeboarders competing in the 2014 NSSA West Coast Regional Championships Sunday, May 18, 2014.
After a rather dismal small wave plagued open season, the kneeboarders took full advantage of the waves and none other than the big man, former world champion, Sean Noone made the most of the larger waves in the 20 minute heat with a couple helicopter spins and big hits to take the championship.
Evan Odom was right behind Noone and actually leading the heat until the last few minutes. Odom had some long rides and a couple good hits on the closeouts to earn second place.
Paul Devoy got some long rights with some sweeping cutbacks to earn third place.
Chris Bermudez decided against any of his trademark spinners and concentrated on getting a couple long rides to earn fourth place.
Out of state traveller Ken Cherryhomes caught a left to earn fifth place.
Congratulations to all the competitors and to Brad Coldwell for winning the 2014 Open Season Points Championship and getting a sweet NSSA parka.
Next up, the 2014 NSSA National Championships June 26 to July 3, at the Huntington Beach pier.

Thanks for the report and pics Mike! Big congrats to Sean for a great win and to Evan for a nice 2nd. I tried to watch the final on Surfline and actually saw some waves. Saw Sean get a couple of lefts early in the heat and then Evan with a nice hit on a right with about 4 minutes to go. I could also see lines and it looked like it was pretty consistent. Stoked for you guys
