Glad to be back

Post by budman »

I'm stoked I found this site.I Started kneeriding in 72, Jacobs 5-1 pin tail.Move to Newport 74 and with my step brother Randy Stockstill rode epic point and Wedge for years. Now ride Romo boards and after a little hiatus, almost two years I'm back riding again and LOVING IT!You forget what a rush kneeboarding is a nice peaky morning.I look forward to seeing you all in the water soon.Peace and boat drinks....Bud

Yea a 5'1 was the size back then. I currently am riding a Romo 5'7 quad swallowtail and a Romo 5'8 double bump pintail. On my wall is a mint condition 1974 5'7 Jacobs twin fin fish. One of these days I'm going to take that sucker out and let it fly.BTW can anyone out there give me an honest opinion on how Romonosky's boards compare to Bud Mcrae's at Blast.I talked to him yesterday and am thinking seriously of having him make me one.

Thanks Beeline for the input. We have probably crossed paths in the past as I have been kneeriding in OC for 25 years.

Hey Budman,
You can't go wrong with a Blast, especially with "Bud" shaping. His boards will make you hungry for waves! I have a 5'11" tri fin that works unreal here in Florida.

Beeline, perhaps an afterwork session is in store, especially if this south fills in.My office is in Newport and I take pch home every night. That would make it easy to hook up for a paddle out.Lets talk.
